i've done that a handful of times and was good to go in an hour Depends on the person very much
Yeah I think this is true. I rolled mine badly once and couldn't walk on it unassisted for 3 weeks

yeah a mate i used to play with used to roll an ankle it seemed like every 2-3 games and not even that badly and miss a couple weeks. I could full on land on someone's foot and a few times thought i'd cracked my ankle in half and after sitting on the bench for a few mins i was right to run. Just luck with genetics

That's my recollection. I ran the state track meet the next day, but my time sucked. Seems like I was jumping off it. Reinjury was also hard to avoid. I *could play, but I would be worthless and it would postpone recovery.I sprained mine pretty bad in college landing on an opposing players foot after a rebound. Had to have our trainer and an assistant help me limp off the court. Swelled up like a baseball. Missed 3 games and was less than 100% the rest of the season. Now I tend to roll my left ankle fairly easily to the inside, and have even had it touch the ground but it doesn't keep my from playing. Kinda crazy.
