How big of a factor is Burke?

I like Trey but he has a uphill battle at his size. Exum would have elite size. At the moment I want Wiggins, Embid, Exum, Vonleh or Gordon in that order.

Trey is going to have to fine some elite shooting ability Stephon Curry Style to be a real difference maker.

Parker below all of them, or was there an oversight?

his style is perfectly suited for the playoffs. he is careful with the ball and controls the pace. he makes clutch shots, and he is just a smart guy who knows his game. he will only get better.

he will be a great 2nd or 3rd option for us for a long time. we just need to go get jabari.

Reactions: MVP
This year, as a rookie he averaged 12.8 ppg, 5.7 apg, 3 rpg on 38% FG, 33% from 3 and 90% from the FT line. He also averaged only 1.9 TOs per game.

I am very encouraged by his play. I think he will be better next year.

i fully expect trey to avg 16.5/3/7 next year while shooting at least 42%. 90% shooter FT shooter doesn't shoot 38% from the field. our new stud (jabari or whoever else) will help his game. and trey will work like crazy this summer. kid is a keeper.

If Exum or Smart is the BPA when the Jazz draft, the Jazz draft him.
Anyone remember Rickey Green, all-star PG for the Jazz? Hot Rod used to refer to him as "the fastest of them all." Jazz went out and drafted some guy from Gonzaga named Stockton. He turned out pretty good and pushed Green out the door.

This is a business. If Burke can only shoot 38%, he needs to be replaced, whether that's by Exum, Neto, or a free agent. That said, he was a rookie, so let's see how much he improves. I doubt he'll ever be a top-10 PG, but that might be a good thing. If he's never a star, he'll be cheaper to retain.
