How did Exum look last night?

Indeed I have cast aside the uncultured swine. I will miss the quality of racks tho

**** Queenslanders are backwards, did they have indoor plumbing at the hotel you stayed in? But yeah a great pair is a phenomenal thing, I miss the pre-mandatory scrubs days at work, it was just a festival of cans, scrubs are terrible garment likely designed by a homosexual.

They are super slow and blank .. and happy to wear tight white singlets that are 3 sizes too small lol

X has looked almost as bad as he did in the first half of last season. Looks like he has little control out there and horrible shooting and feel around the rim. Defense ok I guess.

I will make these excuses for him. The slow temp offense and the reality that he is not considered a point guard by the coaching staff put him in positions where he is less likely to succeed. But I am not going to bash Quin for this. He is more astute than I, and he obviously is putting Dante in the positions he thinks he can best help the team.

I am not sure he should see many minutes in the post-season. O'Neale has outplayed him, and Neto probably does what Quin wants with back-up point guard minutes better. I'm thinking Dante will still see the court, just for a few minutes here and there just on the off chance he can spark some good sequences.

I am a bit down about my man X tbh. And this will sound like I am being too quick to judge too early from his comeback... But I think if he gets another option from another team to be a back-up point guard he should trust his instincts and perhaps sign with them. Follow his dream of being a point guard in a different offense where his mistakes and inept shooting may not destroy the system being run.

Dante is a point guard. I am not sure whether he will ever be an NBA calibre one, but he is certainly a bust if he plays any other position imo.

Having said all that. If he was to be offered a multi-year deal from the Jazz, I kind of would understand if he takes it and just tries to become an effective role player etc. Job security is important I understand.

ps Sorry posted this elsewhere initially

Exum hasn't played well the last few games but again he didn't choose where he goes.

He is a restricted free agent. He can "follow his instincts" to another team and the Jazz will choose if they want to keep him or not.

Dont get too down bro. Sounds like you took too much away from Exums strong return and thats why you feel a little disappointed. The simple truth is that he still needs time to develop, offensively he has been poor but his defensive abilities have been on show. Im not judging X until he is at least 24 so he will get a few more preseasons in by then.

Have faith.

Weren't you dissing Exum a few weeks ago?

Ex had 6 points, 1 REB and 3 AST in 20 min last night.

O'Neale had 6 pt, 8 REB and 1 AST in 25 min.

Both shot 2-6 FG.

Exum had 1 TO, O'Neale had none.

O'Neale had 3 PF, Exum had 1.

O'Neale was more aggressive overall. (8 REB to 1)
