The only scenarios that make the least bit of sense to me are
1. Phoenix for Brokafor. Williams is redundant for them.
2. Taking on Tayshaun Prince's extra year. This would really help Memphis. They own their pick but cannot trade it until after making a draft selection, and taking Prince for a future protected pick isn't too exciting. Worth noting -- Memphis owns a TPE that's about $10,000 short of Marvin's contract.
3. Something involving Asik going to a third party i.e. https://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l9fxl2g This one requires the third party to overvalue Asik as much as Houston does.
