There is a report that Lebron hates Houston. Wont go there.

Also, rumor is his kid has registered for school in LA.

My money is on he goes to LA with Paul George.

I think the school story was refuted.

Seriously, who DIDN'T see problems arising for any team drafting Lonzo?

But George, Lebron and Capella or DeAndre joining the Lakers makes the most sense to me if James wants to head West. If I were him, I'd stay in the East.

When asked if he thinks James will sign in L.A., Ball said, "I don't feel like it, I know he is. I already told you to call him L.A. Bron."

LaVar then said that James wouldn't be able to teach Lonzo anything if he joins the Lakers because the Ball family patriarch has already taught his son "everything."

LaVar added that Lonzo "knows the game" and "knows how to play."

Although LaVar doesn't think the NBA's best player can teach his son anything, he does believe Lonzo can make King James better.

"Whoever's on the team, he's going to make them better," LaVar said.

He then said Lonzo deserved credit for Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle all having career years in 2017-18.

I forgot how much of an absolute *** Lavar is. Wonder if that changes anything as LBJ did have issues with Lavar in the past.

I don't think it matters. We still do our thing. Win now implies we take on a border-line all-star by giving up the ghost in the hopes we push it over the top. That isn't our modus operandi. Rather, we will continue to build as we have. We have two straight up impact players because we were smart with our choices in the draft in very recent history. We struck gold in 2013 and 2017. Both are arguably top 15 to 10ish players (meaning you can make an argument). We know how to draft basically, which was a huge problem with the previous administration. We have a good FO, coaching staff, and culture. We will let that speak for itself.

Now if we can make a smart signing or trade that helps, we do that. If not, then we don't. Golden State wasn't built overnight. They were smart with their drafting and cap space. So was San Antonio. We are doing the same.

Edit: Okay, I should say I think Lindsey is simply better than O'Connor at drafting.
