What's new

How many infractions do you have?

I got 1/4 (4), but i have more than one that has yet to expire. Its like 3 reds and two yellows, or was it the other way around. No time to look. What does all this mean? When can I get back to what I do best? I have been square for so long that uh?, Im going crazy like a box uh?, er, boxer, like Mike Tyson went crazy. Booooya

Actually I got 4 reds and one yellow. What does this mean?

Can I start back up rockin this board.

Yeah! Warning for posting an insider piece with the jazz offseason grades. This was not even 1/35th of the piece. Thank the whiney *** members on this board and the bi polar mods, no more insider pieces at least from me. biznitches.

That's %^$#@.

I can understand a PM, explaining the policy and why your snippet of the original article was unacceptable. And then suggesting the length of quote that would be ok. But to just give you a warning? That's %^&$#!

When can we vote these mods out and replace with new ones?

Absolutely he did.
If Jazzfanz is in mortal danger of having a lawsuit brought against them because of your post, I'm just wondering why it hasn't been removed.
And I would think posting "Uh...mods?" is clearly calling you out in public (vs sending a report to the mods). Wouldn't that qualify as "backseast moderating" under the posted rules?

"Back-seat Moderators: If members note a possible problem, they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a moderator or administrator via a private message. However, members are asked to not act as "back-seat moderators"; please do not make moderation-related comments in board threads. Members who consistently "act" as moderators may receive infractions."

Isn't this back-seat moderating?

Don't think so. I've simply posted a direct quote from the rules.

If you call my post "backseat moderating" where does it stop? Would your questioning my questioning be considered backseast moderating?

But no worries, PKM...you're one of the good ones.

Truth is Colton said it did not appear I was breaking the unspoken insider rules. He was obviously the most sane. I also pm bronco. If a mod had an issue with it they could have simply told me early on since two of them responded to me or the thread within an hour or so of it going up and neither said I was breaking rules. Like mo said, they could have removed the post if they feared some kind of legal action, but it sits there still. I also could have just deleted the content, but nope these power wielding mongloids had to show we wassssupppp! Slap him with a yella they say.

Hmmm...

I wonder what is the correlation between the number of infractions and Rep Power.

Don't want to mention names, but I'm thinking the correlation would be strong, to quite strong... (with the exception of PKM, probably)

I don't think it comes into play .. but I may be wrong. Unless you're asking if those that get infractions are more likely to post stuff that gets pos rep'd .. that's got legs.
