Right now is say Al is close to a max player. I do t know that we would give him that kind of money though. One can hope.

It sounds funny but I guarantee some crazy team is going to come close. Someone will offer Al $13-14 million per, if not more. I just hope it's not us.
Jefferson isn't a 20/10 guy.He will command at least 12-14 a year. Name a 20/10 guy (not a rookie contract) making less than that?
Also, Jennings may already be physically declining or is at least playing that way. He's averaged 5.2 FTA's per game for his career yet only 3.9 this season.

I think we can go ahead and give him that accolade. Upgrading his minutes to 36 both last year and this year (a very small projection) he would be there. He has done it twice in Minnesota as well.
Upgrade his minutes to 36 this year and he still only averages 18.9 points per game.
stupid idea. 2 young guys? and 2 scrubs behind them?
whats wrong with sap at 10 mil per year so faves kanter sap can avg 33 minutes per game and some scrub gets garbage minutes
Reliably what though? Levying a tax on your team's possessions and inefficiently using them every night isn't a good thing. Besides his defeatist attitude and slothful play. There are plenty of decent bigs to be had for minutes off of the bench. Sap is not going to accept this role.
Jefferson is the better more reliable player. So if you are paying the same amount of money for them. Jefferson is the obvious choice.
I have to admit, I'm a huge Big Al fan. I was wondering what the board thinks his re-sign value should be? He's making $13mm this year I think. I think he gets serious consideration for the All Star Game in Houston. So how much is he worth? Should we pay more than $13mm/yr for him or less?
