How valuable is our 1st round draft pick?

Come June on next summer it'll have value of damn near anything we want minus maybe 6 players in the NBA.

I am not sure what I would ask for in a trade. Draft picks are typically overvalued to begin with. Add to that the opportunity to get a franchise superstar and you can see why this pick is VERY valuable if it winds up in the right place.
 
Due to last changes of CBA the draft picks are so valuable on paper. We gotta see who we will select and how he's gonna play at least one year with the young core. The jazz gotta pay lots of money to fix the roster and mesh it. No jefferson, no biendris, no williams, no Tinsley, may be no Burks and Hayward. Lots of opportunity to be excited but noone can guess and be sure if we will be smart enough to use it right.

I beg to differ.
 
You don't trade a pick as good as ours could be for anyone but LBJ. I see him as the only player capable of leading us to a chip.

I would add a couple more players, but outside of Durrant or LeBron...that would be it. Anthony Davis is very intriguing, but I wouldn't move our pick for him. 20, 11 and 4 blocks per game. Wowza. Amazing. I doubted him big time. If he can stay healthy, watch out.

Davis is awesome, but still worried that he will be injury prone.

His body is just so different than anybody else's.
