It seems safe to deduce that if #20 for the Celtics wasn't playing tonight for the Celtics against the Cavs, then he wouldn't have had a major career setback. Perhaps worse than that. Deduction can be a bitch.

Anyway, get well soon #20 for the Celtics.

The ironic part is that he got hurt on a play Stevens took from Snyder's playbook for Hayward.

I don't remember Hayward even so much as sprain his ankle with the Jazz... would I be right in that?

He broke his finger last year but that was his only major injury iirc.

Haven't mentioned it here, but ever since Hayward went to the Celtics, he has not looked happy. Anyone else noticed that? I haven't seen him smiled being in a Celtics uniform.


Wonder if something's up with him since he left Utah.

PG13 had a tibia/fibula break above the ankle. Hayward's was at the ankle. Probably much worse for Hayward.
