Chuck is going to bid 25 K for Hayward's game worn jersey from tonight. You can put that on the list for high bidded weird ****.
I have mixed feelings. First and foremost I feel bad for Hayward and hope he is able to come back and be the player he was before the injury.
That said, holy hell am I glad it's the Celtics and not the Jazz that are on the hook for that contract.

Assuming you meant "doesn't" I can pretty much guarantee dude's going to get way more cheers than boos when he plays in Utah and rightly so. Sometimes a little class goes a long way.If this injury means that SLC does boo his *** worse than any other returning jazz player ever, this makes me hate Hayward even more
Let's not forget how he basically gave everyone in the Jazz organization the proverbial cold shoulder and finger. No comments about his teammates in his article? Not calling Synder or Gail. Come on man. Admit it Cy, how Hayward handled the whole thing was ********.
Nice straw-man but you are off the mark here.Real quality human being right here. I'm glad you're here to tell everyone that their ability to feel for someone is really just "virtue signalling" rather than just not being a **** person.

Hayward didn't deserve this. He's a human being suffering. Yes I am pissed he left us high and dry but I do feel bad for him and hope he gets back to 100%. Good luck G!

OT start:Hayward is one tough son of the bitch. Just few minutes after injury he was not even crying or grimacing. He will be back playing for sure.
As gruesome as it looked we forget that these guys have best medical care available in the world. He will have surgery in no time and won’t miss any of his paycheck. I would gladly trade my ACL tear and 12 month wait until I get free surgery to Gordons injury and care he will receive.
Feel free to correct me. What did you mean by virtue signalling if not to insinuate that many poster's expressions of sympathy were less than genuine?Nice straw-man but you are off the mark here.
Haven't mentioned it here, but ever since Hayward went to the Celtics, he has not looked happy. Anyone else noticed that? I haven't seen him smiled being in a Celtics uniform.
Wonder if something's up with him since he left Utah.
