I hate Locke

Not a big Locke fan, also not a Bolerhack fan AT ALL. I would die a happy man if I never had to listen to him again while watching a Jazz game. You can only bang down so many shots before it starts to ooze from your ears like blood making you want to scoop out your own eyes with a spoon and drill out your eardrums with a jackhammer.
 
I don't mind Locke. You can see that he truly loves what he does and how dedicated he is.
 
You may not like his style, but he's the hardest working and probably the most passionate of the media guys around the Jazz.
 
Hate is such a strong word.

He sucks. I think that is nicer.


I don't like to listen to him either.

Yep. I can't stand the material (interviews, analysis, etc.), but dude puts in the work.
 
I only dislike Harpring. I don't care about any of the others.
 
I love Locke when he is alone just talking. His interviews are too often too awkward....I think he spends too much effort trying to dig out an inside story, when a simple leading question would get him much further.

If the Jazz would send Locke to Journalism school, and Boler to Basketball school I wouldn't complain.
 
Locke's play by play is horrible. Especially when he gets bored of the game and goes into radio personality mode.

His radio personality mode is fine when it's not a broadcast. I like tipoff.

Interesting side note: if you listen to tipoff, I think he recently was "talked to" about his constant bashing on the fan bloggers. He's done a "360" in the last week.

Appreciate the work and dedication tho. He wakes up way early every day to Tipoff, most of us would rather just sleep those 30 mins in.
