offer Jimmy Butler a toxic contract that if the bulls match will completely screw them this year and maybe next. Then offer Hood, Burks and burke in a SnT. Bulls have to take it

You can't do that. Once an offer is signed, the alternative is to either match or not match. The offering team can't rescind and negotiate a trade.

But the bigger question is why Butler chooses to sign with Utah over 29 other teams, including his own which can offer him more money to stay?

If the Spurs land LMA, they can't keep Danny Green and/or Corey Joseph. Green is a longshot, but I like Joseph. We have like 5 point guards or something though, but hopefully having Hanlan, Cotton, Neto, and Burke as backups doesn't deter Lindsey from going after a good PG.
