What's new

I just think it's funny

Can we all agree that AK was the biggest dead weight injury bug lazy loser of the team the last 4 years....?

Obviously, I'd rather have Deron and Boozer than Memo and AK. Mistakes were made, but re-upping Boozer would have been another mistake. Good riddance.

Boozer and Aj on the floor at the same time would be epic. Especially with Deron at the point.

Too bad most of us live in the here and now rather than the there and then. If we just imagined it we would have the best team of all time.

Look there goes Deron passing to LeBron who flips it behind his back to AJ for the dunk with Boozer trailing the play and Wade on the wing!!

Wow we have an AWESOME imaginary team.

Carry on.

wow, and our imaginary play-by-play guy is pretty awesome too!

That people try to justify the blowing up of this franchise by saying that the Deron/Boozer era was going nowhere. Um, excuse me, but THIS ERA is going nowhere. We were a contender and that's hard to build. I suspect a very long rebuilding process to become a contender again.

Enjoy your false hope and lottery picks, Sloanfidels.

We were a contender? Seriously?
Only if you mean we were a contender for the 5th-8th spot and a chance to get eliminated in the 1st or 2nd round. We were not competitive against SA, LA or Dallas. Got lucky enough to face Houston a couple of times and extremely lucky when Golden State took out the Mavericks.

KOC and Greg stayed with the roster until they saw what the team could do with everyone (relatively) heatlhy. And what the team did was lose badly in the playoffs. The Millers weren't going to field a team costing $80M unless a championship were a distinct possibility. And I'm glad Deron is gone. I hated his whiny, smug face. He never took responsibility for playing and shooting poorly.
