I need help from everybody: educating Bollerjack

I'm being totally serious here. I need everybody to help with a serious project. We all need to band together and figure out how to reach Craiggory Bollerjack. Once reached, we need to educate him about what a SKIP PASS is. He's been at this for, what, a decade? It's intervention time. Let's get this done. I can't take it anymore.

Helpful comments can be left below. Thanks.

i heard him say he "did good tonight" he needs to learn basic english

hayward knows he said "he did well"

It bothers me when Harpring calls a run out "cherry picking". Cherry picking is when you never cross half court and don't bother playing defense, not when you challenge a shooter then run past him toward the other basket. Said it 3 times tonight on run outs.

The absolute #1 thing he needs to learn by a long shot is, well, the long shot. Or knowing what a ****ing 3 point shot is, and how you just look a the ref and see if he's calling a 3 or a 2. He's comically bad it.

On another note, I hope he doesn't change that. It's gone from frustrating to amusing to me.

guys, this isn't a thread for trashing Boler and Harp. It's about one problem. Thanks.

(I do feel your pain, though).

Craig it isn't a skip pass... also it was a 2... and you don't hammer down jump shots.

I know what a skip pass is, but what does Bolerjack think one is?

I wonder if we need to teach him the meaning of the word skip.

Or maybe we need someone named Skip to teach him what a skip pass is.

Probably the easiest way is to email davidlocke09@gmail.com and have him tell Craig about it. Or maybe tweet to the guys at 1280 and tell them to make sure on the radio show next time Boler is on to tell him about the joys of a good skip pass.

I think maybe you guys are just niggling over trifles. Living out of state, I really enjoy a Boler/Harp/Booner broadcast when I have the opportunity. Saw the Atlanta game as I was in SLC for the holidays and saw the Houston game on NBA TV. These guys come across to me as some of the most genuine NBA broadcasters I've seen. Stu Lantz and Bill Macdonald come across too deadpan. Mike Smith and Ralph Lawler seem too scripted and Smith can go on ad nauseam about the most inane crap imaginable and Lawler says BINGO for a made shot, c'mon really? Harp's analysis and player profiles are some of the best I've seen and Boler makes it funny and interesting. These guys are genuine and charismatic. Loved how Boler told the national audience how special this team is - repeatedly. And even McHale and Webber got a charge out of Boler's reference to Jingle Joe and Slow Mo Joe. I'd like to think they were laughing with him, not at him, but either way it enlivened the proceedings and made a blow out a game worth watching for Jazz and non-Jazz fans alike.

Worst thing Bolerjack says isn't skip pass, it's "nothing but net" when the ball very obviously touched the rim. When the net doesn't move, it hit the rim. When the ball bulges the front of the net, it hit back iron. When the ball hits the rim three times, it's not nothing but net.

Thank you.
