He lied about his intent. He wanted to take care of his daughter all power to him for his intent. That being said he is a millionaire and he could have afforded treatment for his daughter from anywhere in the United States. His motives were legit but his agenda was clear.

Exactly. The leaders in that field were in Mass and NY, so naturally Fisher moved to...um...well closer to the east...uh. Ok LA, but everyone knows that everything, especially all things healthcare, is better in LA than anywhere else. So, yeah.

But if he had done the same thing in other NBA cities, same reaction from there so the only in Utah thing is of base. The point is not irrelevant at all. The fact that you or I may not think that he lied doesn't mean there is not a legit case and perspective that he did. And pointing out a flaw in logic does not make one hypersensitive. My Canadian roots and experience living all over the US don't really lead to being overly sensitive about Utah.

Not irrelevant? You commented on his first post with a response arguing and defending a point that he never tried to make in the first place. Go back, scroll up, and read what wrote originally and then read what you wrote. Your basically responding and adding-in argumentive points that he NEVER MADE! If you want to argue a certain topic, GREAT! But to respond to someone who is talking about changing a tire on a car, and tell them how you change tires on strollers, and that not the way it is..... bla bla bla, is completely irrelevant. Just sayin.

The marquee players have their endoresment deals to keep them afloat financially, but the vast majority of NBA players are taking a big hit. They are relying on their union leadership and the big-city owners to sway negotiations their way. THIS JUST IN; the majority of NBA owners LOST MONEY last year, some have lost money for several years. They are actually preserving their finances by NOT having to pay their players this year. Add to that, the small market owners are figuring out they have much, much less chance to keep a team together within their small market even if they do become a competitive team, a la the Thunder. What happened in Miami has reverberated all 'round the NBA; I don't think these small market owners are gonna back down, especially since they are in the MAJORITY. This is a rare opportunity for them to change the dynamics of the NBA for the better.
