I Was At Last Night's Knicks/Jazz Game

J.R. Smith wasn't molded by that lifestyle, he was always like that

I wanna point out your 'young guy' Cleanthony is same age as the average Jazz player. He's actually a few months older than Derrick Favors..
1. You are actually wrong about JR. JR Smith likes to portray the thug life, but he is the poster boy for nice, middle class upbringing. Good parents, private schools...the guy was raised right, he just chooses to act like a knucklehead. Entranced by that thug lifestyle. Playing in NYC sure didn't help him.

2. Cleanthony may be older than Favors, but Clean is extremely young at heart. He's childlike. Age has nothing to do with behavior. LeBron was young as hell when he entered the league but displayed the maturity of a ten year veteran. Flip side, Rondo is an old geezer but still acts like an immature dope. If the Jazz perform like a young team, that has nothing to do with a calendar. It's because of the individual players' maturity levels. Maybe some of those young Jazz guys have to wise up, man up.

This character is obviously a Jazz fan pretending to be a Knicks fan.
Are you f***ing kidding me? A Jazz fan? I see two Jazz games all year -- one at the Garden, one against the Knicks in Utah.

Enjoyed seeing them live last night (probably will watch them in a replay of tomorrow's Nets/Jazz game), but the Jazz sure aren't being shown on any national TV network. Not knocking your team, more a knock on the networks. They give us Clippers, Cavs, Bulls, Spurs, Warriors, Lakers over and over and over again.

Wasnt the pick that netted Hayward courtesy of the Knicks? Maybe that's why they are bitter ****s about him.

Do the Knicks; Trade Melo so they can tank and rebuild around Zingus? or Keep Melo so they can tank and rebuild around Zingus?

They should obviously trade him and bring back some assets. Dude is way overvalued.

That's a connection less than 1% of their fanbase would make.

Yup. They booed their recent Euro pick.

Great OP, hilarious follow up comments. I wouldn't trade rosters with NYK, not a chance. And Fisher? Guy is a stooge.

Robin Lopez played the game of his life, 1 game doesn't make up for the fact that they paid too much for him though.

They're lucky the caps rising. Porzingis has been lauded by some on these forums since 2014, there's multiple threads about him -- His jersey being the 4th highest sold in the past few months speaks volumes. what more is there to say at this point?

D-Will was a good signing, in a bang for the buck sense -- is he really built for that NYC lifestyle though?? Getting robbed by 2 heauxs from the meatpacking district, and pictures like this are the baggage that come with D-Will..

The Jazz are easily one of the most injured teams in the league, and one of the youngest, starting 2 rookies and 1 2nd year player.. coming off a game where a 5'11" guard dropped 50+ on them... Was a great game, not worth talking **** over though - The Jazz outplayed the Knicks for the majority of the game, If Hood was featured more in the 4th and OT - The Jazz win that ****.

2 turnovers and an awful shot from Hayward in the opening minutes of OT served that game on a silver platter to the Knicks, NY tried to lose that game a few times, ultimately, the Jazz handed it to them though - after a hell of a fight..

Damn, he hangs with Chiraq savages? Even JR Smith has more class than that.

We got:

- best rookie the league has seen since Jordan
- best second year coach in NBA history. Won 17 games all last year, it's only January and he has already led us to 22 wins!
- we have Melo

Jazz an eight seed right now, a playoff team...and we killed you last night. Man, if we played in that weak Western Conference the Knicks would have a better record than even Golden State.

Are you aware that Utah just lost in 2 OT the night before and they are playing with 3 starters missing. So winning in OT isn't anything to brag about. Jazz have three excellent players who have missed significant time. Exum out for the year, Favors our best/2nd best player and Alec Burk 6th man of the year/starter. As far as Melo owning us, I would say Hayward pretty much match Melo. I like your rookie but the guy who killed us was Lopez. The East is more balanced this year but I highly doubt your record would be the same in the West where the power teams are. OKC, GS, SA will beat any team the East provides as an opponent. However, I will give your team credit they are vastly improved and won the game which they should since it was on their home court. As far as your coach goes, average coach lousy human being.

That was an epic troll post. Well done.

Clyde Frazier, talking about Utah's Rudy Gobert: "You know who he reminds me of? A young Wilt Chamberlain."

What does OP have to say about this?

My friends of color hate him because he looks like a privileged white guy... and he can ball. It's racist, but just the way it is...
It's not racist.
Minorities hating on white folks due to their skin color is not racist for some reason.

Only white people are racist. And all white people are racist.
These are two things I have leaned from general discussion jazzfanz

Kobe is starting in the all star game this year. It literally means nothing.
And Allen Iverson when he sucked.
Yao Ming too.
This Knicks fan seems to get popular confused with actually being good

When Trey hit the game winner in your house did the jazz "Kill" your team then ?
That was last year....and nothing to be proud about. Burke was being guarded by that spaced out weed addict JR Smith. The jockey who rode American Pharoah could have popped that game winning three.
