Hey Pete when you come up this weekend I'm going to have to kick your ***, also we should try to hit up a Jazz game Sat. (OKC) although it is on the 2nd night of a back to back (in Denver Fri).

I do (live in SLC still), and he is a friend but lives in Vegas (hence his old screen name was vegasjazz or something but hell if he can't keep track of them how am I supposed to) oh and me and him are the ones that were NOT drunk on that faithful nite out a few years ago.
 
I'd never trade Deron unless I was fairly certain he was going to leave anyway. If the Jazz FO feels he is going to leave, they should trade him. If we leverage it, we could potentially pick up a top pick (or two) and a top player (or two). May not be that bad. One thing to keep in mind - what team with a dominant PG has won a championship in the last decade or two?
