If Carlos Boozer is amnestied next summer by the Bulls, the Utah Jazz should put a bid on him in the amnesty lottery. Utah will be well below the luxury tax and eligible to bid on amnestied players. Boozer at a bid price of $3m per season or so would be a huge steal and it would be great to see him come off the bench behind Favors. Getting him for $3-5m a year would make up for all the games he missed when he was getting $10-12m. It would also be decent a back-up plan if Millsap got a crazy free agent offer from another team and jumped ship.

But he just got votes for the all defensive team.

One of my happiest days as a Jazz fan was when we finally dumped him. Please don't bring him back, no matter the price.

Jazzfanz needs to be purged! 7 damned people voted yes!!!!!!!!!!!! Really.......

I think they are voting yes because of the idea of boozer playing for his value. The OP put a price tag of 3 million per year for Boozer; however how do you figure it will be so low? How does this new amnesty bidding process work? Would Boozer be okay coming off the bench? For such a cheap price, will Boozer still yell? Why can't I stop asking questions?

Carlos Boooooozah?!

The return of "AYE!", "GATDAMN!", "AGGHHH!".
We'd be stacked, that's one thing for sure. Him and Jeffy off the bench would be something to embark on seeing. But he'd eat away time from Favors... And Kanter.
