Kids dreamed before Gutenberg. I appreciate purists, I am one myself. But the pursuit of artificially retarding progress/innovation will be met with only despair. Embrace it.
Buy an iPhone, download tapatalk, post silly half-witted comments and bring yourself into the (insert what century this is) century.

Embrace it, but find a balance...that's my philosophy. Don't be afraid to turn that phone off when you go to the beach. Put down the mouse and go talk to a colleague at work instead of sending the 3rd or 4th e-mail in the chain.

I can neither confirm nor deny that statement. Actually, at my previous place of employment, I did have more female friends than males. But none of us really flirted with each other. Did have one guy I used to go to Dodger games with. He called me the "anti-fan" because I always cheered against the Lakers and Dodgers.

Thanks alot. I don't appreciate being called a moran or being lumped in with Archie. Reread my post and see that it had nothing to do with Jimmers NBA performance.

My apologies. I was surprised by the number of posters dropping him way below where he was taken in his draft class, in a much weaker draft. But I now see you didn't vote; so the label doesn't fit. Honestly, with the Tebow-like hype he had and the raw numbers he put up, I'd be surprised to see him NOT go in the top-5. Most of the guys in this draft have huge ?'s about their offense, or ability to play PG in the NBA, etc. Jimmer - at least coming out of college - was a premier scorer.

I don't get the 99 problem reference. Guess I'm naive.
And actually, there were a lot of very attractive women where I worked. Unfortunately, when I was single I was always a "friend" and never boyfriend material. Or maybe that was a good thing. At the time, frustrating, but worked out for the best in hindsight.
