You are seriously reaching. Yeah I like KAT but he isn't an elite player so bringing him in takes us to a lower tier playoff team. Not the direction we should be going. Luka is a bonafide superstar that I think would be a very good fit with Lauri. It isn't that hard to understand. The difference between KAT and Luka is massive.
If KAT becomes available should Jazz be interested?

If we move Lauri and bring in KAT to put up 35ppg surrounded by our super young guys. We might have some fun, and still be absolutely terrible.

I agree in theory but we don't even know what step we are on, let alone what steps we can now try to skip.
Not for lower tier stars that aren't a great fit with your best player.

Nope. Having 2 scoring bigs at the 4 and 5 is not ideal. Can you think of any situation where you have 2 scoring bigs that are thriving at the same time? I can't really think of one right now.

Seriously man, listen to yourself. The Jazz were an unstoppable offense for about a month with Collins/Lauri. If it was KAT/Lauri it'd be unstoppable for an entire season.
I get KAT isnt a great defender, but he also isnt nearly as bad as people make him out to be.
Lauri/KAT/Sexton would give you the building block of an elite offense.

I’m with Cy I think KAT would be a great fit next to Lauri.
