If not Rubio then what?

No.

I clearly stated I think Rubio runs the offense the best but the results arent always there because of how poorly he is as an individual offensive threat. Process =/= Results.

To back that up I grabbed the on/off ratings from when he was an average offensive threat (last year from January 1st and on).

My point is that 1. Rubio is our current best option at PG and 2. That when we replace Rubio we should look for someone who can do things similar to Rubio from a leadership and intangibles perspective at that position and 3. Just sticking Donovan there is more likely a potential detriment to his development, not a positive.

Lopo's obtuseness is really infecting yall.

Oh, you just can't handle being wrong.

I'm just a jazz fan.

Lol nah. Just a jazz fan. I just think it's one of the worst things I've seen the way a player has been treated by a coach.

Could not agree more with you. Feel bad for the kid, he does not deserve this kind of injustice.

I guess you don't watch the games or are too easily swayed by results over process.

*And I'm clearly not saying results arent important. THEY ARE! I don't support bringing Rubio back on another contract because his deficiencies are too often getting in the way of those results and it seems he is just a tragically hot/extreme cold player (unless it's as a backup where we replace Exum).

Man, do you ever take responsibility for your actions or do you always change the subject or take shots?

That was HH's point. You've been defending Rubio all year. Like I said, don't back down now. Too late.

What's the point of the process if the results are bad? I'm sure Rubio's floor generaling is effective when he's hot. Historically, he's not. So defenses sag off him, and he cannot run the offense effectively.

Honestly, do you even try to read what I'm saying?

Put bluntly - we are not winning the West much less a Finals with Rubio as our starting PG. In my opinion, you either go for it all or you lose because you don't have enough talent. Well, we have enough talent.

We need to be bold. Guys like John Wall, Dragic, Rozier, Kemba, and others might be available. In my opinion, all are better options than Rubio. Give Rubio until January 1. If this level of play continues, make a move DL. You didn't do anything in the summer so you have to make up for that. We owe it to Ingles and Gobert.

Me saying Rubi is our best PG option on our roster =/= me saying he is the long term answer.

Nah but it’s logical to conclude that when someone says we need a floor general type and Ricky is a floor general type that you are making the argument for Ricky.

I wasn’t making a straw man argument at all... I do know a guy that does doe... or at least he moves the mark when he feels defensive.

You are tying yourself into pretzels.

'Rubio runs the offense well' is a complete non-sequitur when the offense suffers when he plays. It's ridiculous.

I’m kind of into production myself... I don’t care how well the offense runs if the results are effective.
