If you could bring back any former Jazz player

Except he can't defend 4s, which nowadays are really wings.

Sure, but Gobert's skill set is the perfect complement for that. They drive past Memo and get met.

All the small forwards being mentioned on this thread erase Ingles from the starting lineup. Okur could get back anything he gives up (and then some) by simply being himself on the 3-point line, and it simultaneously keeps Ingles on the floor. This team + Memo is better than anything else suggested thus far.

Okur would be fun, but as a backup C. I think prime AK would make this team damn near impossible to score on, and really fun on offense too.

i tried interpreting your instagram post but my wife informed me its Portuguese, how the hell did you become a jazz fan? Neto wasnt here in 2013

No one taking byron russel?

AK. He just played in the wrong era. He was great internationally because he didn't have to face big PF's. In the NBA he was just too slight for PF and didn't shoot well enough to play SF. I think he stays engaged under Quin because everyone touches the ball. He doesn't feel ignored. And the league is smaller. He certainly fits better as a shooter than Favors with Gobert.

Current players, I just can't bring myself to say Hayward, so I go with Millsap. If we didn't have a bazillion guards, I'd probably pick someone else. I have to say Hill was a perfect fit when we had him.

83-85 Darrell Griffith would be perfect. He was making the 3 at a decent percentage and scoring over 20 pts a game. With current coaching techniques he'd be monstrously good in this team/system.

Prime AK would also fit like a glove.

Not with Gobert at the 5, he wouldn’t. Not remotely. Meanwhile, he opens the floor on offense perpetually.

AK, by contrast, would be cheated off of routinely and shoot far too often, making our offense worse.

Thank God.
bro... Memo as a 4 in today's NBA? That's awful.
