LOL. Just turned on the debate and heard Obama saying bring back the Veterans and rebuild our roads, bridges and schools... Am I missing something here? Did they get destroyed in some apocalyptic battle?

You may want to google search our failing infrastructure and schools. Google public schools in Ohio and you'll see plenty of schools that need to be rebuilt. I saw in one of my classes a school built before the Great Depression in Ohio that was still using coal for heat.

Absolutely it works. Check out what happened in the 19th century with the railroads, the 30s with the New Deal, World War II was just one big stimulus, and then in the 50s with the interstate highway which paid huge dividends. Heck, one could probably even make the case for the 60s and the space race and the Internet.
Upgrading our infrastructure developing new technology, and improving our education are the keys to bring America back. Invading Iran isn't. I agree, throwing money overseas for "freedom" is stupid. I'd vote for Romney right now if he had this as his base... Instead, he has the exact opposite. no soup for you

How much do they think this really matters? Apparently over four debates the Democrats netted 9 and a half minutes of speaking time. That's over 6 hours.
So the scoreboard looks like:
Dems: 3 hours 4 minutes and 45 seconds
Republicans: 2 hours 55 minutes and 15 seconds
Is there any plausible argument that this could have an effect on even a single voter?
How would you account for word count (I'm almost positive Romney's would be much higher, given pacing) offsetting this?
I know this is America and we all hate each other, but we're talking about a variance of 2.6% of the total debate time.

According to Facebook, YES!!!
Obama/Biden are winning because they talk more, interrupt Romney/Ryan, the moderators are biased, and they keep promising unrealistic free things to buy off voters.
Serious question, have these debates changed the decision of anyone here on this board?

I was pretty pro obama for along time, I agree with him a lot more on the social issues, but he just seems dissinterested, like he isn't putting in the work Romney is. I am wouldn't say it is completely because of the debates but I am now leaning Romney.
Yeah I think that first debate crushed Obamas narrative of who Romney is. That is the real damage that debate caused. People are seeign Romney as a viable candidate now. That has not chnaged. Not saying he will win but it is a dog fight now and will stay that way.
