Not seeing the comparison.
 
If Evans wants to be more than a 10 minute energy player off the bench, he's gong to have to either put on a bunch of weight or find a jumper. His J looked really bad last season - bad form, no confidence (even when he was hitting them). The AK comparison is a little weird, as Evans hasn't shown an ability to make plays for his teammates like AK always has.
 
I wonder if Evans can do some of the stuff Ronnie Brewer used to do, or if he just doesn't have the court awareness.

I mostly agree. He could afford to add weight and strength even if he were to become a 3, but I just don't think his body will allow him to put on the requisite strength/weight he needs to in order to be a 4 in regular rotation in the NBA. I also think his form is and mechanics are really nice, but that he just needs the reps to find the confidence.

But let's look at it this way, if the basement of Evans is the best non-rotation player in the league (and I think it is), then awesome. Especially since he was grabbed... what, 55th?
