India has launched strikes in several parts of Pakistan and Pakistan-controlled territory, in a dramatic escalation of tensions between the two nuclear-armed rivals.

In an assault India dubbed "Operation Sindoor," the Indian military said it struck nine sites in "Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed."

Tensions have been on the rise between India and Pakistan since April 22, when gunmen killed at least 26 tourists and injured a dozen others in India-administered Kashmir. India accused Pakistan of having a connection to the attack — the worst aimed at Indian civilians in more than a decade.

Pakistani media quoted the country's military spokesperson as saying Pakistan would respond to this "provocation."

So it was Biden's fault that Russia invaded Ukraine and that Hamas attacked Israel, oh and also responsible for Israel's outsized response.

That clearly means that (no wars during my Presidency) Donald Trump is responsible for Pakistan attacking India and is now responsible for India attacking Pakistan because the world is 100% based on the U.S. President, right?

If it becomes a war, sure. So far it is some terrorists mowing down Indian tourists with machine guns, and India bombing the terrorists' enclaves. India has not attacked any forces belonging to the government of Pakistan, and no Pakistan government forces have retaliated on behalf of the terrorists who were killed. That isn't a war. Hopefully the current US administration is competent enough for this not to spiral into a war, and they should get credit if it does not.

I will answer with the obvious correct answer. No it is not trumps fault when other countries attack other countries. It wasn't Bidens fault when other countries attacked other countries either.

I agree with you, but I will say that if a major world crisis happens in the near future the U.S. will be significantly less ready to handle it, not only because Trump and his administration are largely incompetent (jobs are rewards for loyalty, not for competency), but because the administration is already dealing with so many self-inflicted wounds they would not have the proper amount of time and attention needed to deal with anything else.

India are a team in transition some aging batsmen whove probably stayed too long and the dance and a bowling attack that relies on the aging talents Jasprit Bumrah.

Pakistan on their day can beat anyone but it depends on if they show up.

Also like all conquests between these two teams the spectre of the bookmakers of Bombay will loom large.

Modi isn't an idiot, my guess is he will use a low intensity conflict (India will comfortably win any conflict between the two countries) to draw the US into the region, the price for peace will be improved trade terms for India into the American market.
