This was kind of a dumb thread for me to post but that's just how excited I amBout to flame the **** out of ya
I’m super stoked. This series is gravy to me... if we win awesome... if not this season is a huge success. We have more work to do but it’s already a huge success. DM gonna get a playoff win in his first season... took AD 6 years. The future is bright and if a couple things break our way we are gold.
Sounds like you're expecting the Jazz to lose.![]()
On paper they should already have rocked this league.No. I just have a can’t lose attitude.
I don’t know if we are in control this series because of what Westbrook and George can do individually. I think we can win doe, but need the stars to fade or at least not go supernova like PG did.
I was encouraged by many things in game one. DM being great obvi... but Exum doing things was great too. I think he may need to play more and we may have to live with the mistakes.
Hayward is the type of player this teams needs. We need another wing that can create, shoot and defend. But I am guessing Hayward is looking at next year and how wide open the East is and what Boston can do when healthy. That team could be looking at 5 years of finals appearances. I doubt he regrets going to Boston right now.I wonder what Mr. Hayward is thinking right now. I know it’s silly to even thing about it, and the fallout of the Fourth of July has ended up better than we could’ve ever dreamed. I’m thrilled.
But Mitchell was already on the Jazz when Hayward left, remember him tweeting Hayward with both of them on 2k? I remember vividly a post I made saying that id be terrified to leave because what if Mitchell is awesome and he left. Welp....
He would be absolutely perfect in this series and this team. Mitchell has the killer instinct alpha dog that Hayward never did. But everyone who always said Hayward would be great on a championship team as long as he wasn’t the number one option, well it ****ing happened! We gave him exactly what he needed he just didn’t know it yet. What if he had been on a five year deal instead of four? I doubt there would be much talk of him leaving this offseason.
No use whining about it, but a moment of reflection while still being so ****ing happy that we have Mitchell is fine.
We got our ‘dude’ who can lead us to the promise land, but it does suck that his perfect running mate bailed before he knew what he had, and now we are a running mate away from being a real contender.

Hopefully we can add someone like that in the next 2 years or someone develops into that such as Exum.
I used to think that would be a good spot for him and where he will go. I am not sure Lebron is a great fit with Simmons now though. Simmons cant play off the ball and is most effective as the primary ball handler. Maybe Lebron is willing to change his game a bit though and play off the ball a little more. I am sure Brown could figure it out if Lebron is interested.I expect Lebron to go to Philly this off-season to lock up about 3-5 Finals appearances in a row.

I doubt they do that but, he might regret it at that point. But that is a hypothetical scenario in the future. We are talking about right now. What happens when they trade him and picks to SA for Kawhi this offseason?
I don't know. Tatum and Brown are going to be hard to keep off the floor. And, they come at a fraction of the price. Hayward may become trade bait for Danny. How ironic would it be for Hayward to be traded back to the West for Boston's missing piece?Hayward is the type of player this teams needs. We need another wing that can create, shoot and defend.
