Certain members of the Jazzfanz community in Summer 2016: No we don't need to trade Hayward for a top pick, even if that pick turns out to be a star player (even though we needed it) We're not worried about championships. Let's just have a good team. I don't want to tank and bake the cake again.

Same members of the Jazzfanz community in 2018: Tank, tank, tank, tank, tank. We need to tank. (even though we have two superstars already) It's about championships.

Jazzfanz is a weird place lol.

The sooner people realize there ain’t no tank, the better.

That's not weird.

The Bulls play at 1:30 pm tomorrow. If he plays then there is no trade imminent.

Best case for Jazz: Mirotic gets some kind of month to two month long injury and tanks his value. Everyone backs out of the Mirotic lottery, Jazz get him for a 2nd round pick. Mirotic doesnt hurt the tank and helps the Jazz get in the playoffs next year.

I’ll take anything at this point. I don’t see much in the way of big free agents next year, not even the mid-level guys (talking talent not MLE). It’s gotta come through trade and NM is looking like a good pickup.

Unless he’s a free agent (pretty certain he’s traded and the option is picked up).

Gobert
Mirotic
Ingles
Mitchell
Exum

That would mean 4 of the starting 5 are foreign... any other teams with a higher % than that?!?!

Trade restrictions have now been lifted for the following: Cristiano Felicio, Nikola Mirotic, Kyle Korver, Mason Plumlee, Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, Blake Griffin, JaMychal Green, Tony Snell, Jrue Holiday, Andre Roberson, Patty Mills, Serge Ibaka, Kyle Lowry, Joe Ingles and Otto Porter. Mirotic must consent to any trade and would lose his bird rights if traded. Porter must consent and cannot be traded to Brooklyn.
