What's new

Is Boise St the best #31 ranked bb team ever?

Hockey is the best sport that I don't care about to be honest.

Better than golf, soccer, nascar, baseball, etc.

If we had a pro team, then I would probably really like hockey

Who said I don't like BYU or Utah?

What is this? A Ute fan failing simple reading-comprehension? It cannot be.

lol. here you go:

(I have also particularly enjoyed the avoidance of the points I addressed, regarding how successful the Oilers are, and how big of a joke BYU/Utes/Cyclones/whatever are in comparison)

Still going on with Hockey, huh? Give me a break. Let it go man. The fact that Edmonton is great at hockey is irrelevant. No one on this thread cares. The sport sucks. It actually sucks so much that even hockey's own owners keep trying to shut it down with lockouts (and yes, I am sure this shows my ignorance on hockey, because frankly, who gives a ****?).

Hockey sucks. I'm sorry that has hurt your feel bads so much. It is what it is. When your dick freezes off, and your women all look like black bears, you decide to steal your wife's ice skates and throw pathetic punches at each other that land your opponents face about as often as you score (on and off the rink), which isn't very often.

Get over it. If you want to talk about how great hockey is, go make a thread about it.

And no, Edmonton's best years aren't as fun to watch as Utah's worst. Hockey just sucks. Great hockey is still boring as hell tv. Bad football is still entertaining.

And isn't Edmonton in last place? Bwahahahahahahahaha. Looks like your hockey sucks worst than sucky hockey.

And were you even alive the last time they made the playoffs? I love your post though, "historically strong". How true is that. You sound like BYU fan and their "historically relevant" football program.

Very accurate statements. Not currently "strong" or "relevant" but historically. Bwahahahahahahahaha.

Why let it go? I've thoroughly enjoyed clowning you

One poster inquired if Edmonton had a sport that represented itself-- and I responded by showing that we do. In fact, it's one of the most cherished franchises in a league that's been around for around a century. When posters began to attack this sport (simply a childish, and embarrassing argument-tactic) I decided to compare the success of my hometown's team with theirs.

The sport sucks.

Not sure if you could find three posters on Jazzfanz that value your opinion tbh.

*insert gif of man crying here*

So the sport sucks because you say so. Mhm.

What a thoroughly entertaining post, from start to finish. Would honestly rep, if I could.

The Bucks are a successful top notch franchise.

hahahahha

Yup, grade 7. Went to the Stanley Cup Finals as an 8th seed (en-route to collecting two of the biggest upset-victories in NHL playoff history). They lost their starting goalie (who would've surely been Finals MVP) in game 1 of the Finals. Series went 7, Oilers lost in Carolina.

In other words, Oilers of last ten years have had equal success to the Utes.

If you clearly had any hockey-knowledge (or general inquisition) whatsoever, you would realize how idiotic you sound when comparing the Bucks to the Oilers.

Oilers are in the Top 5 NHL franchises for most Championships. Can the Utes, the Jazz, BYU, Iowa State (etc. etc.) make the same claim?

Only dude who has any sort of formidable chance at coming up with a coherent response in this thread, is PKM-- seeing as he's the only person who's contributed, that actually knows what it feels like to root for a top 5 team in their respective league.

I don't and I never said that I did. I just said that I have an ok time going to grizzlies games(and getting drunk)and that the sport is imo unwatchable on TV.

ps Your starting to sound a little whiny. Best let it go. You're getting trolled.

Fair. I find basketball more fun to follow, but going to an Oilers hockey game (consistent sell-outs)-- particularly when the stadium was hitting like 120dB in the playoffs a few years ago, is an awesome experience. I've just always been annoyed by people who are like "this sport sucks", or "baseball is boring" and what not. Every sport has something different to offer-- if you're smart, you'll set aside time to try and see what others like the sport for. I love watching basketball, soccer, and hockey-- and I enjoy (to a lesser degree) watching rugby, American Football, and baseball.

I've already said everything I needed to say. I'm just eagerly awaiting another 10/10 response from green.
