With more stuff coming to light on Cosby, and the offseason already being very boring, I thought I would throw out this poll. Did he do it? Should he be punished if he did? Should we just drop the whole thing because he is a borderline senile old man?

Here is a link to some interesting tidbits on this case:

https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/cosbys-history-spanish-fly-jokes-comes-back-haunt-him

In his 1991 appearance alongside King, which was part of a promotional tour for his book “Childhood,” Cosby joked about “Spanish Fly,” which was a slang term in his youth for a pill that could serve as an aphrodisiac.

“Spanish Fly was the thing that all boys from age 11 on up to death — We will still be searching for Spanish Fly,” Cosby told King, who laughed and agreed with him. Then this exchange takes place:

Cosby: And what was the old – the old story was, if you took a little drop – it was on the head of a -

King: Pin.

Cosby: - pin! And you put it in a drink -

King: That’s right. Drop it in her Coca-Cola – It don’t matter.

Cosby: It doesn’t make any difference. And the girl would drink it and -

King: And she’s yours.

In two new interviews, two new women detail incidents involving Bill Cosby and unwanted sexual advances that happened years ago.

Therese Serignese, 57, a registered nurse from Boca Raton, Fla., lays out a story of a meeting, a drugging and a rape to The Huffington Post.

And Carla Ferrigno, wife of bodybuilder/actor Lou Ferrigno, tells The Daily Mail of a night long ago when Cosby forced a kiss on her.

I do think he has done some of the stuff he is accused of. But if it gets that far then he should have his day in court. If convicted he should absolutely do time. No breaks, especially for that crime. I'd even say death penalty if he is concivted of being serial about it and not just one time.

Having said all that I do not buy this number of women. I think there is a fair number of attention seekers and band wagon jumpers.

Hard to believe all the women are making up stories just to get attention. Many of them get plenty of attention anyway and accusing Cosby couldn't possibly get them anything or anywhere more.

One of them women that "came forward" was Janice Dickinson. I was immediately skeptical.

Either way they should be interviewed as part of a case agaisnt Cosby. Find what they feel they can prove and if crimes were comitted then try and get justice.

Again, for a serial case of this particular crime, I wish the death penalty was an option.

The statute of limitations has expired for most of the allegations.

This is exactly what I was about to write.

Criminal prosecution is probably, logistically, out of the question.

If so then I guess we just let this die off and fade from the public eye. I feel bad for these women though.

and the above comment has nothing to do with whether I think he's guilty or innocent or something in between

I really don't know enough about these allegations, other than most of them happened 30 - 40+ years ago, and I'm not familiar enough with the situation to know what, if anything, was reported at the time or how the reports were handled
