Is everyone expendable?

I think you have to think about moving Dwill his attitude it aweful! Maybe go younger and build a bigger/ taller team( Except for Curry) and move him to Golden State for Steph Curry, Dorral Wright and a 1st rounder. Then see what we can get for Millsap maybe Granger , move Ak for Murphy and a 1st rounder and next year trade Memos exprng contract with Bell.

Building Blocks
Starters; Curry, Miles, Granger, Jefferson, Murphy Bench to build with (already under contract with these trades) Hayward, Wright, Evans, Then trade Bell and Memo and try and use one of those 1st rounders on Anthony Randolph. Would be great team to build with. With tons of scorers who can all shot the 3 balll.

or Fire Sloan and get Mike Dantoni and let this Jazz team run!!! Trade Jefferson for Granger, Keep Milsap and trade Ak for Murphy and just run run run while shooting 35 3s a game. Maybe even trade Dwill for Wright and Curry plus pick and just run run run
Curry Bell Granger Millsap Murphy Price MIles Wright Memo. Dang our entire team could just shoot 3s all game

I would definitely be shopping Deron.
You would definitely be retarded, insane, or both. Shopping is not the same as taking calls, and even then, what would realistically be anything approaching equal value?

The second you make a call, you've resigned yourself to .10 on the dollar.

Give us a trade scenario that's halfway realistic that doesn't amount to robbery. The climate on the trade market is never give up anything and get everything, nobody throws the kitchen sink to get what they want. Until the climate changes, Deron creates a Carmelo hostage situation, or your star is aging and you're going nowhere, you clutch onto your best player(s) like grim death. At least as a general rule, and that rule definitely applies here.

And to answer the initial question;

Hypothetically, everyone's available for the right price. In the real world, Deron is untouchable.

Maybe this year, buy next year I don't think he can be viewed like that. I think we at least need a trip to the conference finals to keep him around.

I wonder how the jazz draft pick situation, mostly the lack of picks, will impact what the Jazz do.

Why? Anything besides some completely arbitrary non-sense?

Aside from Deron wanting to win a championship? I agree that there is no way to really know, but players have more control and power than they ever have. LeBron, Bosh, Amare, Carmello.....this is turning into the norm.

Why should we just assume that he is going to stay?

By the way, I'm all for a "franchise-tag" in basketball.

The Jazz are the worst team in the world on a 4 game skid and the best on a 4 game win streak. This forum is a non stop menstrual cycle.
