Yeah, OK we can now officially stop listening to this poster on this subject.
Have to end it somewhere I can't respond to you all night.

The smallest person can stand up to the biggest person in the NBA and look tough because both players know that neither player will do anything if they are mentally sane or care about their team. The only way to truly be tough is to play through contact and not complain. The standing up and acting like you are going to fight is just fake tough. You definitely don't want your star getting into any fights were he might do something that will get him suspended.
There are a lot of examples of standing up for yourself without being ejected. Getting a tech or giving up free throws I think are a small price to pay especially in the 2nd quarter of a non playoff game.
Yeah. To me simply walking away shows so much more toughness and mental strength than a silly act like this. What Hayward should have done is thrown a few shadow punches and then ducked behind his coaches or other players like JLIII did.

Iawtpthere's something to be said for what tonstermits is saying here. and cy too. personally, i honestly think hayward didn't respond because he was scared. now, much more jacked, i'd love if hayward just responded by slowly walking up to him and laughing at him, like he's a little, dumb bitch.

Didn't look even a tiny bit scared to me. Looked like he found the idiocy pointless.
