That www.jazzfanz.com is the strongest force in making me not be a Jazz fan?

You know when we get the @JazzAvenues quotes and it's obvious that a fanbase is toxic?

Imagine how all of you play in those threads on other fan sites. Where do you think you rank on that scale?

This site is broken. So many of you are toxic. You hate this team more than any rando NBA fan. Why are you even here?

I'm ready for a break. I'm putting myself on another self-imposed ban until the playoffs start... If there's any reason to come back at that point.

This is the worst this site has ever been. Corbin years were more positive. This is a ****ing cesspool of negativity and hate.
 
Utah sports fans are always negative and woe is me, everyone is against us!

But yeah, this fan base on here is freaking out while the Jazz struggle. I think its a mid season slump with the team severely limited with injuries/covid and overlooking the regular season. Combine that with being unhealthy in the playoffs for the last couple years and having big meltdowns people are on the edge. Especially after us having the best regular season in Jazz history, expectations went through the roof.

Hope your back for the playoffs, it should be a fun one. I get a kick out of the freak-outs here, but It does get tiring for people to hate the team so much. People seem to take their life frustrations out on sports.

The team has lost a lot. And the front office has sucked majorly in the draft the last few years. I don’t blame fans for being upset. The team is really close to contending and the FO has made just bone headed moves. Drafting Doka and not scoring Herbert Jones I think contribute to the fan base being angry.

I don't see anyone freaking out. It's called avid fans seeing the issues clearly. Doesn't mean we hate the team, it means we're invested in the team. And hey we all are allowed to have hot takes every once in a while aren't we?

No sir. I love you but I think you're wrong on this. There are issues, I agree. But the hate for the team we love is at a very real high.

I like the Jazz, for the record. I think everyone has their pet frustration, and people are prone to want to talk about their frustrations, which results in a beehive of complaining. I don't think that's unique to here. But that doesn't mean that your broader point is without merit. At the end of the day, I can dismiss this all as silly because it frankly is, which is the best part about sports.

I don't think any fan sees the issues clearly. It's part of being a fan. I think it's okay and I think most people are fine. But, yes there are freakouts happening here, there always have been and always will be. They are happening more frequent lately.
 
I think we're all frustrated that this team appears to be sleepwalking through the regular season rather than realizing they could be using the regular season to improve for the playoffs. I think we're all bracing for a similar outcome as the last two years, and by being pessimistic now, maybe we inoculate ourselves somewhat against disappointment later.
