You don't even know him but says he not a man? You wonder why jazz fans get a bad rep from the rest of the bball world. Her wanted to win a chip. No chance at winning g a chip on utah. It just that simple no matter how bad it hurts. Utah is on its way to a lottery pick next couple years. Gobert is good but not great. With NBA being a jump shooting league it makes Gobert value lesz

Actually, with the GS Warriors not nearly as solid as in previous years, contending for a chip was a real possibility. Imagine a healthy Hayward on the team. Add in the dynamic rookie, DM and suddenly this team looks very, very good. Rubio can do what he does best: push the ball, play great defense and dish out assists to Hayward and whoever plays SG. Ingles and either Mitchell or Hood come off the bench. Still have the problem at PF with Favs and Gobert not co-existing well. But who knows, with JJ out, maybe Hayward slides over.

Imagine Hayward, Ingles, DM, Rubio and Gobert, with Hood as the sniper off the bench. And Favs is the backup 5, playing only limited mins when Gobert is also on the floor. No Jerebko, Sefolosha or Udoh, of course, but none of them are needed.

Not sure what your reference is, but last time I checked, they weren't even leading the conference. They're 13-5, have had a few bad losses and played poorly in stretches. Key backups are either aging or not performing as well as expected. Not saying they aren't a very good team. But the gap has narrowed. I wouldn't call them a lock for the title. Houston has a chance, Boston matches up well with them. Cleveland still lurks. Even OKC proved (with a 17-pt win) that they can compete against GS.

So yes, I maintain that while others have improved to close the gap, GS has also not looked as dominant.

lol. Ya , Durant and Curry must have aged too much in the offseason.

Nothing has changed. They just don't give a **** about the regular season.
 
Hayward with jazz would not make them contenders. Stop slamming the Kool Aid. Jazz needed 7 games to beat an old clippers team without it's best players.lma o. This place makes me laugh more then any other bball board.

Excellent post. They don't care about regular season. You are this all the time with great teams. The year the Warriors won all them games they lost to Cavs in finals.. Funny people think Jazz with Hayward would give GSW a run. Just comical. Masked me wonder if people watch bball other then the Jazz games
 
Whatever the case Im so glad he's gone. He wasn't feeling us, and it feels good to have someone that doesn't want to be here gone.

Plus hes a wussy.
