I'm sorry but you're wrong. I never made any malicious or offensive posts about transgenders despite what the warning said. I simply proposed an idea of their own celebration. Thiis had NOTHING to to with my infractions.The first was for calling someone a troll after they had called me a troll. The second was for insulting a group of people someone know AFTER they insulted a gorup f people I know and me personally. If you're going to talk about my infractions at least do so acurately.
 
I give the edge to kicky, given that he has a very good reputation (the noun, not the board feature) on this board, and JSL is still a relative nube... and it's no question that when nubes are acting hackish, they should be taken care of by the vets.

Its like when JF bans spammers with 100 posts, compared to when Trout is allowed to promote his insurance business.

That's just internet law right there.
 
If it was presented to me that way it would make much more sense. Just say "You have received an infraction becuase you 'insulted' Sirkickyass or KatieDMC. They did not receive an infraction for doing the same thing to you first because they have been here longer." It would still be boodissy as all hell but at least it would be honest.

Turns out it's our judgment that matters. Not yours.

And for the record, I didn't vote on that one either. But if you think your previous behavior is NEVER considered when looking at new reports then you're fooling yourself. Especially when they are closely linked in time with one another.
 
Call it what you want. I was infracted for insulting someone who insulted me first. So how was what I said malicious or offensive? Why is it offensive to group people with similar qualities and questioning why they are grouped with dissimilar people? Do you just happen to hate people who want to change their appearance to some things but not others? Is that why you see it as a negative thing to say?

I said I went back and re-read the exchange. I did not deny that JS responded in kind, I said I viewed it as the "standard internet tough-guy exchange...attributing it to simple immaturity". I was not defending JS, but rather pointing out that, irritating as it might be, he has a point. I don't really care who gets what punishment out of this, I just called it as I saw it (hence the qualifier "FWIW"). But if someone can't see that kicky hurled the first insult/taunt in the exchange after reading it, I don't know what to tell them.
 
Wow, JohnStockalypse is arguing incessantly. Remind anybody of a previously banned poster or two?
 
And if you do go back through the thread, you'll notice that Bronco70 also agreed with what I said. But for some reason Sirkickyass only felt it was necessary to insult me and my freinds.
