I just wanted to point out that this is significant. Statistical models have become INCREDIBLY accurate at predicting such outcomes. Magnitudes more accurate than the simple polls relied on by news organizations. As data gathering isn't slowing down any time soon, this will be even more visible in the next elections. A disruptive change. Very exciting.

Wouldn't he be a warlock or is there something we need to know about "Mr." Silver?
All debates aside, he correctly predicted all 50 states. Data gathering is still in its early stages, and will keep on evolving along with the mathematical algorithms that make sense of it. I wouldn't be surprised if predictions get close to a 100% on the neighborhood level by 2024.
I think it's clear that Silver needs to stop doing useless things like predicting election results and start doing something important liking working for a professional sports team.
It's easy enough to find out. Weigh him against a duck.
