I saw this earlier and wondered the same thing. With Hil seemingly taking the heat for Libya and Romney surging in the polls, Bill may think that pushing Obama over the edge and letting Mitt win this cycle will better set Hil up for 2016. Otherwise it would seem that Biden will be the '16 Dem candidate.
That said, even if Obama wins this election I think we've seen the last of Hil in Obama's cabinet.
The secretary of state said, as she has many times before, that she's done with government after this presidential term.
"I have made it clear that I will certainly stay on until the president nominates someone and that transition can occur," she said. "But I think after 20 years, and it will be 20 years, of being on the high wire of American politics and all of the challenges that come with that, it would be probably a good idea to just find out how tired I am. Everyone always says that when they leave these jobs."
Fantasies about Hillary are for some reason still indulged by the right
NOBODY has Hillary fantasies. NOBODY.
Hillary has openly stated she's not planning on running for President again, and plans to retire after this election. Those statements came well before anything about Libya, so they're not causally related. Fantasies about Hillary are for some reason still indulged by the right, including the bizarre summer phenomenon where some people became convinced that she was going to be elevated to VP candidate.
For example, here's an article from January 2012: https://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-cnn-hillary-clinton-done-with-politics,0,2655333.story
NOBODY has Hillary fantasies. NOBODY.
Well..... Monica Lewinsky maybe.
Please tell me you guys aren't taking this clearly out of context clip seriously?
I'm pretty sure you aren't stoked, you don't seem that stupid.
Scat on the other hand...
