Not strictly a correct definition. It's when you pass around the perimeter directly to a team-mate who is positioned two or more passes away - that is, not the player closest to you on the perimeter, but a player the other side of them. You "skip" the closest player(s) in rotating the ball to the weakside, or from the top to the corner.A skip pass is a pass over the top of the defense, from one side of the perimeter to the other. You "skip" the defenders.
You may be right. I haven't been able to work out what he thinks it is, as I'm not really sure he's even consistent with his use of the term.Boler uses "skip pass" as slang to describe a bounce pass.
