Isiah Collier Hype and Appreciation Thread

The only backup in the league who dominates the ball like him is TJ McConnel, who is truly a 1:1 type player. But we have the team composition to suit him. What we lack is players who play with the ball in their hands, so having a guy who can only dominate the ball isn't so bad.

The league favoring the "hulk smash" also makes him pretty tough to guard. Bumping into the defender is OP.

These are the most ball dominant players in the league this year. It's TH, Collier, and then a bunch of stars. The biggest difference between TJ and Collier is the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, TJ seems takes care of the ball better and impact his teammates in a more positive way.

I don’t think he really needs to develop his 3pt shot much past 33% as long as he stays explosive and develops his mid game and ft shooting. Don’t get me wrong bumping his long range shot would be huge but with his other tools it’s not going to kill him and stop him from having a great career.
Collier is in the competition for the guard with the worst perimeter gravity in the NBA. He should be able to knock down open threes.

He has the problem of most bad shooters- you can see for stretches he can make them when he remembers to do it the way he's been drilled as late, but then in the scrum of the game he reverts to his natural shot, which kinda sucks. Hopefully one of these off seasons he rebuilds it enough to force him to always use his new form and not revert.
