Israel Commences Ground Invasion into Gaza.

I would like you to read the following research regarding the Hamas tunnel industry. It is quite long and very informative. I would like to point out that this was published by an unbiased Arab institute. I would also like to quote a specific part:
A similarly cavalier approach to child labor and tunnel fatalities damaged the movement’s standing with human-rights groups, despite government assurances dating back to 2008 that it was considering curbs. During a police patrol that the author was permitted to accompany in December 2011, nothing was done to impede the use of children in the tunnels, where, much as in Victorian coal mines, they are prized for their nimble bodies. At least 160 children have been killed in the tunnels, according to Hamas officials. Safety controls on imports appear similarly lax, although the TAC insists that a sixteen-man contingent carries out sporadic spot-checks.

All told, the tunnels have been a mixed bag for Hamas. While its detractors praise—albeit begrudgingly—its success in reducing the impact of Israel’s stranglehold, perceptions of corruption inside the organization have intensified. During the renewed fuel shortages of spring 2012, there were widespread allegations that Hamas leaders received uninterrupted electricity and that gasoline stations continued to operate for the exclusive use of Hamas members. True or not, they fed a growing mood of recrimination that Hamas had profited from the siege.

I stand for the little fish not the big. That's my style.

But, not rooting for the little fish to harm the big one either. And when it's about humans, I always try to speak for the peace and justice. Because, humans aint fish. They can actually do better, if they want enough.

i see one little fish in the big picture.

lol thi sis what i been saying for years:
"They have money and oil, but don't care about the Palestinians, even though we are Arabs and Muslims like them. What a Saudi or Qatari sheikh spends in one night in London, Paris or Las Vegas could solve the problem of tens of thousands of Palestinians." — Palestinian human rights activist.

"Most Arabs are busy these days with bloody battles waged by their leaders, who are struggling to survive. These battles are raging in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya and the Palestinian Authority." — Mohammed al-Musafer, columnist.

dude, you're on the wrong board and planet ))

this is how this world goes, there are always battles for resources, lands and better chicks

oh, did you know that texas once was mexican territory?

Well, that's quite authoritarian. Israel is stronger, so it's OK for them to occupy and steal land.

“You need to understand that Palestinian blood has been shed by Hamas itself," a 28-year old journalist who asked not to be identified told FoxNews.com. "Living under Hamas is a tragedy.”

Since Israel's operation began Hamas has fired more than 2,300 rockets at Israel, including one that struck near enough to Ben Gurion Airport to prompt a 48-hour ban on most international flights in and out. While the rocket attacks have been largely neutralized by Israel's Iron Dome defense system, the incursion into the Palestinian enclave has left an estimated 140,000 Gazans displaced.

“Nobody can forgive Hamas for what they’re doing," the journalist said. "No one can forgive Hamas for butchering Palestinians to get power. Most Gazans hate Hamas with a passion."

There is fear of speaking out against Hamas, which is why many have stayed quiet until now, according to the source, an editor at a local Gazan media outlet.

“The only reason Hamas rules Gaza is because of its ruthless iron fist and military dictatorship," he said. "We would love to have an independence from both Fatah and Hamas, who are profiting off the Palestinian people. We need to rule ourselves.”

Kind of an interesting topic, but why not? The only reason they don't is because bigger and stronger groups out there (us for example) tell them they can't. Which big strong group is right? We took land from the indians by being bigger and stronger, but the statute of limitations seems to have run out on that one. I am not making a call one way or the other as I don't know what is right in this situation, but it is interesting that the bigger and stronger in the world are imposing their morality over the issue to stop the stronger player (Israel) from doing what every stronger player on the planet has done at one point or another.

I tend to put more responsibility for the lack of peace on the shoulders of the Israeli's. Being more powerful and having the strongest bff in the world I do look to them for a solution. They are better organized and better funded. They can take unilateral action, something the Palestinians really cannot do.

The settlements are really a win for Hamas and a defeat for Israel and Fatah. Too often Israel takes actions that they know are going to weaken Fatah and strengthen Hamas politically.

no, it's not ok

as well as it's not ok to go to libia, syria, iraq, afghanistan and to kill millions of people for some economic goals

but this is how people always lived and this is how geopolitics works

in the end, every great empire falls
