It's Over - Ne Deal for Gtime - RFA time

the jazz can match any offer he receives in free agency. if hayward was dead set on a big payday, and earns it by next year - and someone offers the money he was looking for, the jazz can match it. if not, and he gets a lower offer, they can match that and hit the mark they set out for anyway. or if he gets a big offer and he isn't worth it, they can let him walk. Good decision by the jazz.

Please stop posting before I get vulgar!

Been reading your posts, and are you even a jazz fan?? I am the biggest Haward fan here, but I'm a jazz fan first, and will boo the hell out of him if he leaves the team wether by trade or Free agency.

I'm pretty sure he openly admitted he's a Hayward fan and follows jazz cus Hayward came here.

Me too. If the Jazz draft Wiggins or Parker, I say do a sign and trade. If Hayward gets $13M+ he's overpaid. If he has to "settle" for $11M, he's going to be pissed off that the Jazz are underpaying him and pull an AK. Burks has shown he can - maybe even should - be the starter at SG.

Favors is an introvert who had chemistry with Hayward.

He will not be as comfortable in Utah without him.

Chemistry, in all workplaces, is what makes success.
You're probably the guy working at an Orange Julius on the front line like "okay gais! Teamwork is success!" to a group of 2 co workers.

I would have liked locking up Hayward at a fair deal, but this is good too. If his camp was asking for the max we will either save money or sign him to it in the summer.
