J Sloan ruins everything

Almost every free agent or trade that pops up everyone says "Oh well, him and Sloan would butt heads and wouldn't work out" Why don't we get a new coach for a change and maybe players would want to come to Utah. I'm tired of not getting good players b/c they might be a thug or attitude won't roll with Sloan. Bring in Corbin; even though its summer league when he coaches the Jazz dominate. Even Horny would do better. There's my rant

If players were really that concerned about him, they could just ask his players to see what they say. I've heard D-Will say several times say he appreciates the amount of freedom Sloan gives him out there. Boozer also credited Sloan for the year he had last year.

I think Jerry is the least of the reasons most FA's don't want to come to Utah. I've never heard a guy say, "I don't want to play for Sloan." I have heard FA's say, "You go play in UTAH." Outside of a few knuckleheads like Amaechi, Arroyo and Giricek, Sloan has earned the respect of most players inside and outside the organization, even those that have left the team to play elsewhere.

Yes, Jerry has his faults. But he is easily a top-5 coach in the league. And he gets more out of average players than anyone else.

I sometimes complain myself that Sloan is a problem, but never once did I think that problem was that free agents would not come here because of Sloan. He is probably one of the bigger draws that we actually have.
