Not as awful as you think.

He is also very young. He can still learn how to defend better. A lot of NBA players just aren't great defenders anyways. He also will be in better shape in the NBA. He already achieved that. Go look at his workouts. His body looks great now.

I wouldn't call 11% body fat during the time that he should be in the best shape of his entire life particularly encouraging. Calipers or not.
 
And for the record, I would love to have Parker. That doesn't mean I'd draft him first though.
