What's new

The "Make Jokic do everything and limit everyone else" strategy is what you draw up against the Nuggets. It's just amazing it is working without Gobert.
They actually ran a ton of doubles and made other guys try to beat them too. They executed a solid plan.

The Nuggets are not missing their second and third best player. They're only missing the second best. MPJ will likely never play at NBA level again, so it's disingenuous to act like they'll be a much better team when he comes back. He isn't coming back.

The 13 rebounds for bogey, 7 for RG, and 11 for Royce kinda show the impact gobert has on rebounding stats for our other guys. Many of us want Bojan to rebound more but maybe its hard to when gobert is grabbing them all lol.
Well the strategy is not to have those guys crash all the time so they can leak out for early offense… sometimes they assume he will get ones that he doesn’t. Obviously Rudy cuts into their numbers but they gave great effort tonight… not gonna get that effort every night.

So yeah.... really don't think the Jazz are going to trade Bogdanovic, unless it's for like Jaylen Brown coming back.
I mean obviously you probably have to do that trade, but I kinda think Bogdanovic is a better fit next to Mitchell and Conly. He's really figured out how to be effective off-ball and is a dominating the second or third option role. Brown hasn't shown he can make that adjustment in Boston. Not that this trade would happen anyway.

I think the concern is it's easy to get complacent about it when you know Gobert is there anyway. Imagine how good our rebounding would be if we fought this hard for rebounds every game.

If I were looking to move to the next level as another team, you can bet I would be making some calls to Ainge about him. His production at his price is pretty damn good, especially if he had a larger role in the offense.

What happened to him?
