On the angle he was going to the rim, it was a totally natural place for that off elbow to be. And for him to “drive his elbow into Williams’ face” would normally require that George pulled his hand off the ball in order to be interpreted in that manner. Had SGA done it that way, the call would never have been reversed, no question about it.
IDK, I thought it was pretty clearly an offensive foul. I think you're just being bias.

Fair enough, I think that a good argument could be made that Basketball rules interpretation is amongst the most subjective. And watching the NBA all these years, I’ve certainly seen my share of different interpretations generally consistent with Star status.

It would have been cool to end the season saying the Jazz beat the 3 best teams in the NBA (Spurs/Thunder/Pistons), but beating 2/3 and taking one to OT is good enough.

It's pretty close either way, but he changed the angle of his elbow mid-air to hit the guy directly in the grill. Not saying he did it on purpose, but it happened. You can draw a lot of offensive fouls in the NBA if you are willing to give up your face.

I actually think Brice has made some decent improvements. His inside the arc game is better and his effort is better. This has resulted in higher 2FG%, higher FTr, less turnovers, and more deflections. Obviously, the shooting is the main thing and the shooting has been awful. But a player is not what his current percentage is. If he returns to a 40%+ shooter he's definitely a player in this league. But even if he's slightly below that I think he's good enough to stick around. Maybe not here, but somewhere.

DARKO and EPM predict his shooting to be 37-38%. Not top 6 shooter level, but on that volume it's still decent. Time will tell, but I don't think he's a 32% shooter.

The massive drop in 3pt% has been incredibly strange. I would say he's gotten better overall, but he has to be a shooter. Every game I expect it to revert and for him to just go off, but it's definitely in his head currently.

His volume has dropped significantly as well. There were a couple times this game where I thought he passed up a look he would have taken before. IMO, Brice is actually best when he's a "selfish" shooter and just letting it fly instead of making decisions. When he makes decisions it goes downhill quickly, but there is value in just having a big time shooter who takes and makes a ton of 3's. That's gotta be his NBA role even if it's not a big one. There's definitely something going in his head that's making him second guess his 3 ball. He might just need some time or a change of scenery. Otherwise he needs a new job.

Hardy gave the game away. 3secs left and let keynote, one of the worst defender in the league, guard sga, one on one. Sga just went to his favourite spot and made the shot untouched. Atleast put a taller defender or send help and let others take the last shot.

If this was intentional then we should be elated.
