I'm actually glad the Jazz still have Flip and Cody. Having Cody, Ace and JJ gives us defensive length.

sounds like they still want to sign kessler, but this also may have been a back up play if they couldn't sign him.
 
What i really like about this trade is who else we sent out -- i remember being upset that we sent away NAW instead of all of our other trash guards, and history vindicated me on that.

TH and WCJ really have not been looking great. Cody started performing at the right time to keep himself in this core moving forward. Best of luck to the first two, they'll have a chance to make it but they're both several years away (and won't have the roster time here to figure it out).

A crazy trade, craziest in my lifetime. A major swing, which you like to see. We still have a lot of assets. I think the emergency of Keyonte George necessitated this -- his all-star stats are coinciding with Lauri's peak, and the west is frankly not looking unbeatable. Jokic has been having injuries, Lakers look like booty, and I'm not worried about the rest of them.

I dream for a tank year, and I'm also emotionally preparing for it to end.
