Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

When was the last time the Jazz had homecourt in the first round? I know the Williams/Boozer teams never did it; although they did have it in the second round once when the 8 seeded Warriors won.

Actually no. Houston had HC in the 2008 playoffs 1st round against the Jazz. Jazz never had HC advantage in the 1st round of the playoffs in the D-will/Boozer Era.

Without checking and I don't know which year but I think we got home court one year despite having a worse record due to being a division winner before they changed that.

We should have been the 5th seed but got the 4th because of the division winner rule.

But maybe it worked against us?

This is how I remember the Boozer/D-Will playoff series:

2007 - vs Houston, won game 7 on the road
2008 - vs Houston, won games one and two on the road
2009 - vs. LA, we were the 8 seed and lost in 5 games
2010 - vs. Denver, won game two on the road in the Boom Bitches game.

It has definitely been since the Stockton/Malone era since we were a Top 4 seed. Maybe 1999?

We were the higher seed for the reason you mentioned but didn’t get HC because of the lesser record.

b/c b4 they had that division seeding rule.

anyway, what are the chances jimmy buttler comes back? that would be a damn tough game.

On his first game back from a long absence? He'd probably be rusty and on minutes restriction.
