If we cant get a pick for Conley they cant get one for Lowry, who has an even more expensive deal.Do we think the Heat can route Lowry somewhere in a 3-way to get us a pick or two?

The Knicks being good in a fluky year may be the worst thing that could happen... they are anchored mentally to themselves as a #4 seed... when they are closer to what they were last year. Brunson helps... so would Don obviously... but they will more likely than not be a play in or damn close to it.Like, who is better?
Monte Morris
Bradley Beal
Will Barton
Kyle Kuzma
Porzingis
or
Brunson
Fournier
Barrett
Randle
Robinson
They were the 11th and 12th seeds last year.
Hell Orlando might be better than the Knicks if Banchero is ROTY level and Isaac finally gets healthy (less likely, but possible).
I'd say that betting on the Knicks having a less than .333 winning percentage is far below a 50-50 bet. The only teams that made it there last season were clearly trying to tank.Is it? Go look at the East. The East is stacked now. This isnt 5 years ago when the West dominated. The top 6 in the East are all juggernauts and the ones right below them are pretty good as well.
seems like there is a lot more movement in the nfl. i have to wonder if there are stats on that sort of thing. mostly caused by the hard cap, imo, where teams can't keep a lot of their good players, but it does seem like there is more movement in the nfl than either of the other two major team sports.
Well yeah, they would win more games later in the year when teams who are tanking start tanking.I'd say that betting on the Knicks having a less than .333 winning percentage is far below a 50-50 bet. The only teams that made it season were clearly trying to tank.
Brunson's life is about to be very different. He played next to a GOAT. Now he plays next to Julius Randle. The Knicks being good in a fluky year may be the worst thing that could happen... they are anchored mentally to themselves as a #4 seed... when they are closer to what they were last year. But Randle also peaked that year and will probably only get worse. He has massive potential to be an anchor for them in the worst way.The Knicks being good in a fluky year may be the worst thing that could happen... they are anchored mentally to themselves as a #4 seed... when they are closer to what they were last year. Someone brought up (think it was Nate Duncan) they have 3 lefties that like to attack from the right side of the court... spacing gonna be an issue.Brunson's life is about to be very different. He played next to a GOAT. Now he plays next to Julius Randle.
IDK if he is that guy tbh.
I'm not in business (in any sense of the term). You're going to have to explain what this means to me and how this applies to the Shams/TJ report (which seems to say that the Jazz have stopped playing other teams against the Knicks).I don't think it really changes anything at all, but you want to play all ends against the middle and push an offer.
