The Jazz would absolutely dump RJ For two more picks.
It's definitely the kind of move Ainge would make.
The poison pill makes a trade become kind of cumbersome. Probably you can't flip him, unless the other team is included in the deal or the Jazz wait a year to trade him.

I think they would... but what if you could do it for Bogey/Beasley/Vando etc.? Or get at least one for those guys.
If you have other deals lined up for those guys then sure. I tend to think Tony means the Jazz want RJ for themselves. I could see it either way... which is why this thing is so wild... it could all be true or false.

At this point, part of me hopes Ainge tells Rose to **** off and trades Donovan elsewhere. The Knicks have made this too much of a pain in the ***. I'll take plenty of pleasure watching a cap-strapped core of Brunson, Randle, and Barrett go absolutely nowhere.

That would be disgusting to deal RJ on a super team friendly deal for 2 picks. Thankfully Ainge will not do that.
RJ is the top asset the Knicks have that the Jazz are after. They aren’t pursuing him to just deal him right after.
Except RJ is leaps and bounds above any player we got from Minnesota.
The Lakers might be willing to offer said picks for RJ, especially if they were getting off of Westbrook.
