Oh, I'm saying it would be a stipulation of the deal.

For example - Don goes for Fournier, Grimes, McBride and a load of picks. In a separate deal, Beverley goes for Rose.

I understand how the deal would work, I just don’t think it makes sense to the Knicks to swap Rose for Beverley if it’s not necessary - and I don’t think it is. I think Beverley has more value somewhere else and should end up in a different deal.

i mean it's a freakin skrimage game, not that Mitchell has crazy good defense, but he can put effort into it, I think he will get exposed a bit more if he's a knick, but he just needs to score for them and not be a defensive anchor.

You might be right, and Thibs is a fan of Rose.

I just see Beverley being a smart pick up for NY if they are trying to change the culture for this young team. He surely has no place in Utah with what we're doing.

A bit of fake news. Not all those clips shown were of mitchell defending. Two of the clips were of a player wearing white shoes and one was of a player wearing red shoes being scored on. So they weren't all the same person.

I just see Beverley being a smart pick up for NY if they are trying to take this young team to the next level. He surely has no place in Utah with what we're doing.

I think Beverley gets packaged with another player and shipped out as soon as he can aggregate unless someone offers a protected 1st for just him. No reason to think he’ll stay in Utah this year. Just seems like a temporary stop for him imo.
