Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Any Wizards package is a bit bare. They could give us unprotected in 2024, 2026 and 2028, but they'd need to make up any pick difference with more players. My guess is Kuzma, Barton and perhaps forcing them to give us Johnny Davis (who they just drafted at #10) at least gets you a discussion, but still feels like they are missing a piece.

So Don has a link to Clorox in his Instagram and I don't think it's a sponorship. Someone or something p*ssed him off.
Edit: The Clorox link is old.

I still don’t think the Jazz had any interest in RJ. I think they explored what others would give us in a three way deal where he was unloaded somewhere else.

Someone asked why would t we want to pay a young player a lot of $. First, RJ doesn’t have the best advanced metrics and he might just be a byproduct of being on a bad team with few options. Second, cap space is valuable. We won’t be ready to compete until that contracts expires… so that’s four years of cap space that could have been sold for more assets while we are in building mode.

Brining back the old saying of don’t skip steps. :)

Not sure if I am convinced we didnt want RJ but I agree on your comment on advanced metrics not being good. And it is clear that there are as many saying we didnt want him as saying we did. IF you believe RJ is a valuable starting piece and IF you believe we are in a quick turn around then we blew it by not pulling the trigger. Real question is how long of a rebuild are we headed for. Tony Jones said it is not a drawn out process but everything we are doing feels a lot like OKC. If so, I am not renewing my season tickets.

Then why does it have "blogger" in there? And why a link to Clorox?
That's a title from Instagram. Basically, if you post enough with long enough content and have so many followers, you can get paid to post on it. Not much though. And beyond that, it was there long before.

That said though, the Clorox link is old hat. Interesting though.

Woj and Tony literally said we want Barrett and we’re the closest we’ve been to a deal in the last 48 hours than the last month and a half combined lol.

The fact that Don's removed Jazz from his twitter and instagram bios seems significant. Favors did the same thing shortly before his trade was announced.

It's not uncommon, that's for sure. Don's either on the move or he's nudging the FO. Those are the only explanations unless he just wanted to change his descriptions, but that doesn't seem likely.
